We have a pregnant staff and she is in her initial stage of pregnancy. She has be en absent from work with MC chit for 18 days and 4.5 days on EL from Jan'12 till now (07/03/12). This does not include the leave she was on for year 2011. Her absences has indeed affect the workflow of the company. May I know if she is entitle to use her total MC or Annual Leave for the whole year of 2012. Can we pro-rate her MC and Annual Leave based on the month she is absent from work and to deduct them as unpaid leave if overtaken? Thank you

You can't prorate MC. Let her finish all her MC and annual leave entitlement and then will be no pay leave.
