Re: offer letter must show probabtion or can skip this part ?

Here is my question:

Is it the probation period must show in the offer letter?
How about if the boss verbally said "i direct hire u as confirmation employee and you no need to pass any probation period."
So the case like this , is it the offer letter can skip the probation part and just noted hire the employee as confirmation worker?
Or every offer letter MUST have the probation condition.

There is no hard and fast rule about this. When you hire a highly qualified and experienced staff, you normally don't require him to undergo a probation. Don't want him to feel slighted.
