a formal Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) was implemented to a staff who is under sales department. Due to market slow, this sales person cannot hit his quota. Within 3 months, this sales person might terminated if he still do not hit the sales quota. May i know do lMalaysia Labour Law do protect this kind of case? according to the company, a person who under PIP will terminated without any compensate even this staff already worked for this company for 10 years. Kindly advise. Thx.

Your company practice is one thing, it does not mean your company's action is final. The affected worker still has to right to fight his case.
