Deepavali is not the compulsory Public Holiday. Malaysia have 4 compulsary Public Holiday which is National Day, Agong's Birthday, Labour day & Birthday of Sultan of state/Federal Territory Day.

EPF is a must from the 1st day you join the company

How do I calculate daily wages /hourly wages of my staff to make deductions for lateness to work? I have read books its basic salary divide by 26 or 30, right? or lately I attended a HR course and was told o divide b 22....
Which is the correct way of calculation?
I have 2 team of staff - management (office staff on 5 day work) and sales staff who works 26 on commission basis.
thank you very much
