Re: Resign with one month notice in the last month of 1 year bond

Hi,

I'm bonded with a company for a year since they paid my previous company for 2 months notice period. If i leave this company within this 1 year bond, I need to pay back the 2 months notice. My bond period is from 29/12/2010 until 29/12/2011. Just curious, if i resign with one month notice on 30/11/2011 (my last day of work will be on 30/12/2011),do i still need to pay back the 2 months notice to my company?
Thanks.

You better clarify with your company to avoid any dispute.

Hi,

I have a question on minimum take home pay. I understand that there is a clause in the Employment Act saying that maximum deduction for an employee is 50% without housing loan. The question here is does this apply to employee who is not cover under the Employment Act of whom the basic salary is above RM1,500. e.g. Management employee?

Thanks.

The EA is not applicable to those employees in that case.
