i'm in the exact dilemma now.
1) My notice period is 3 months. I plan to tender resignation on 1st June.
2) My expected maternity period is from Mid-July till Mid-Sept
3) I hv received an offer from a company to start work in October.
Technically speaking, if I were to tender my resignation on 1st June, i would need to serve my notice period from June, July & August. However, July & August would be my maternity period.
Question: Can I use my maternity period (july & august) as serving notice period? is this against the law?
