Re: Demotion Circumstances

May I know whether can an employee to be demoted with the following circumstances:-

1) Due to restructuring - i'll be reporting to a different immediate superior (fm existing COO to a new Manager), and therefore my position from Snr Executive be demoted to only and Admin Assistant?

2) Due to no operational is on-going in the company project, and therefore KPI & KRA is not achievable.

3) Due to no liking of their team.

4) Due to "so call" ineffiency in English Language.

Please assist to enlighten the above.

From the looks of it, you have reasons to be sore about it. Go to the local Industrial Relations Department and discuss the issue with more details with some of the officers there. Get their advice what you should do about it.
