Hi,

I would like to know, if a staff is given a MC for 30days from 22/2/10 - 23/3/2010 but not hospitalize & He has only 1 day earned leave as at March 2010.So how do we capture his leave?
Does the MC inclusive of Public holiday & rest days?
Please advice.

If he is employed for less than 2 years, then he is entitled to 14 days sick leave with pay. Rest days are included in the period of sick leave but not public holidays.

What if his MC fully utilized? we have to deduct from Annual Leave than follwed by Unpaid Leave if his AL is also not sufficient right?

Is the MC issued by Government Hospital entitle for 2 mths medical leave?
What if the staff who worked for the Company 7 yrs but his entitlement for mc is 14days under company's policy? If he refers to labour department, will the company be charged (under EA 1955, work more than 5 yrs = 22 mc)?
