There was a part time worker who had just work for 8 days. Sometimes, he just work half day and then disappeared. Later, he was sacked on the day itself due to stealing money from other worker. He and the company did not have any sign agreement. Does the company have to compensate him for sacking him on the spot. Can he sue the company for the termination? Please advise.

I suppose he can sue if he wants. That's his right. Next time, better to have proper written contract of service clearly stating the terms and conditions.
