Why you calculate behind?? =.="

For calculation for the worker last day at 21/04/2011 count as like this:-

5000/30(days of the month) * 21 days (working days) = RM 3500

So on the pay slip will write 01/04/2011 to 21/04/2011 (not until 30/04/2011).

DUe to I'm using the computerised system.

The system/payslip will show the period 01/4 ~ 30/4, so we have to deduct for 22/4 till 30/4. So did you mean the deduction formula as below's

RM5000 / 30 * 9 days = RM1500

What if the month in May, should we divide by 31 ? or 30 days

Since your payroll system like that then you just use

5000/30 * 9 days = RM 1500
5000 - 1500 = 3500

For May use 31 days (based on calendar)

Depend on situation. For normal situation is divide 26 (for unpaid leave).

Divide by days of the month normally won't happen because uncompleted month we count is based on working days, not count unpaid leave. Due to your system already set so, then you can divide by the days of the month to count unpaid leave.
