Re: dismissal calculation

I'm working in 12 years as position of Marketing Executive in the company.
But my company be inform me that he will dismissal me on this end mth due to the business drop.
As last year we had 3 colleague also been dismissal with paying in basic/26 days x 15 days(per year) x number of year working.
So, may I know is it correct and fair of paying for me too ?

Under the Employment(Termination and Layoff Benefits) Regulations the formula should x 20 days x number of years of service. However, you may not be covered by the Employment Act, you can use it as a guide only.

since it's guide only, is that possible to get more then 20 days of pay ?
If I go for IR, will it in higher percentange of chance to get more return ?

You can always ask for some opinion from the IR officers.

The layoff regulation says "Daily wage" x 20 days x number of years of service. How is "Daily wage" calculated? Specifically, does it include the 13th month contractual bonus? How many days is used - 26*12 or 365 days?
