Can a person get a warning letter because of what he posted on FB? He was having a chat with an ex-colleague(who left the organization about a week before the post on Facebook) and said he was working in his cell and he mentioned the internal project name which is only known to ppl who works in the company.

The HR department got the right to issues warning letter to an employee if he/she think the issues is serious.
If the person at FB talk or post anything that is P&C to the company. It is consider a crime. Worst scenario is it will end up in the court.
