Re: confirmation for staff

Hi mdm,

My company had employed about 11 staffs in april 2010 and they all provided a LO for a probabtion of 6 mths. But after the expiration of 6 mths, they were not give the confirmation letter until today almost 1 yr service with the company.

How are we HR treat their employement when considering their welfare and resignation, Shall treat them same as confirmed staff or still under probabtion? Can company refuse to give probabtion after it expiration?

It is entirely up to the company to confirm or not to confirm based on their performance.

so it is not bind under labour law that someone shall deem confirmed even not confirm by writting as long as he /she still work after the expiration of probabtion?
