Re: OT - Is there a minimum requirement?

My company had set a rule that minimum OT payment is based on 1 hour. Should i be working 30mins on top of my regular hours for a particular day, i will not be paid for the 30mins OT. As such, if i were to be working 30 mins extra for 1 week, i will also not be paid the OT for 1 week as i do not meet the minimal requirement of 1 hour. Please advice

Who is the person that authorises you to work overtime? That person should not ask you to work overtime for less than one hour then since it will not be paid.
