Re: unfair treatment - verbal

I was told verbally by the Management as they will move me out from the current postion which they assessed me as not fit/ align for the current postion. Verbally informed they have started the hiring of the replacement with higher grade. Do they have the right to hire someone on top of me if i refused to move ? I am in the current role for 3 years and had been excel in performance for the past two years. What should I do right now ?

Until such time, you just carry on as usual. But the management always has the right to hire whosoever they want. You can always consult the Labour Department or the Industrial Relations Department should the need arise.

Do I have a case as I am a performer for the past two years in the current role and this can be proof in the written performance appraisal ?

Then you should not worry so much and lets see what will happen next.
