A staff called informed that will be on MC from 02-05th Feb. On 08th, he called said is on emergency leave , till indefinite. He has some personal and family issues to settle. He has informed me that his house had been robbed. He did not turn up since 02 to date.

Question: Can we terminate him under 15(2)? or need to write him a show cause letter? What is the best action to be taken on him?
p/s: already stopped his February salary.

Please advise. Thanks!

What about if he come back next week? bring along with MC and say agree to take as unpaid leave?
