Re: Bonus

Dear sir, we just found that we did not pay senior manager the bonus which paid in Jan2010. All government deductions (Tax, EPF) has been paid but the nett bonus amount did not pay to him. He might also overlooked it and until now he should still not realised of this payment. We plan to pay him this month the nett amount. My question:

If he found so, he might make complaint to the Management due to HR made such mistake of not paying him the bonus. Will this HR subject to any Disciplinary action, i.e. warning letter or termination due to the above mentioned mistake?

What is the appropriate disciplinary action should be applied on the HR?

To me, it would be better to attempt to correct the over-sight than to wait for the mistake to be found out.

Yes. We are going to inform the manager and the Management. Just would like to get advise from Mr. Siew, if any actions can be advised to my Management on the mistake done by HR if the Management feel its deemed necessary.
