Can employee reject company decision to change his job scope?
His salary and benefit remain unchanged.

In company organization chart, he still maintain same position. Only change is his title as he is assigned to handle new project in the company for business expansion.

Well if it is a management decision to deploy staff done with any ill intention I think there should not be problem for him to comply, isn't it?

Hi Siew,
I had 2 question would like to hear your opinion.
1. My employer is going to expend a new plant which under current Company in different location. some employee (manager and above) had been requested to concurrent the work scope (Hold Same position but take care of 2 plant in different location but under same registered company), is it legal?
2. Could I sue the company, actually the employer would like to save cost and force us to take care of 2 plant with current wedges & salary by using company expend without establish/register another company.

Well Tito, the employer has the right to deploy their staff and the employees also have the right to ask for more remuneration to commensurate with increase workload. I think best to discuss first then decide what will be the next move. If you want to sue, you have to consult a lawyer.

What if I work in the company A and the job come in by using another company B name. The company B is under the different director name but manage by same management. If any mistake on the Job should the company A ask to bear the cost on it as the JOB is for B company.

I think that is not something for you to worry about. You, as an employee, just do the job to the best of your ability. What do you think?
