FYI, the Management had decided that the employee must be dismissed and has to pay the total amount (RMXX,XXX.00) lost/misused from petty cash by giving the employee a 1 month duration. Failure to pay before the date indicated in the letter, an action will be taken against the employee.
The company informed the employee verbally that her last salary (RMx,xxx.00) will be hold by the company until the case finished. She agraid.
Is it correct way to hold the employee salary until the date indicated in the letter of dismissal and take the money if she cannot settle the amount to the company ?
