Re: Short Notice

I had tender my resignation on last Monday (8th Feb) with 1 month short notice( 2 months notice stated on appoiptment letter). I willing to compant 1 month payment in lieu. However, the management reject the 1 month notice and said they have rigth to remain me until I fulfil for 2 months notice. Please advise is true the management have this right?

I don't know how the management is going to hold you back if you choose to walk away at the end of the one month's notice. However, it is better to talk it over with the management.

No appoipment letter given nor sign since I started work with a company in middle year of 2007. I am resigning the post from the company to-day, the question is - Do I have to give company a month of advance notice ? Thank You.
