I recently typed this letter for annual leave.

Hi All
I will be clearing my annual leave and would not be available from the 9th to the 14th of dec.

Then, the boss said my email is rude for using the word clearing annual leave, and its disrespectful to the company

What should i do?

One normally should not say "not available" as he are not the boss. Only the boss can tell his staff he is not available.. Apologize and apply for leave if you want to clear your leave.
