Re: Annual leave after resignation.

I have been working in my company for 6 and 1/2 years now and recently i have decided to move on to greener pastures. My company has allowed us to accrue our leaves and because of that i have 27 days of leaves now. I am to serve a 2 months notice and had hoped to stop working and be on leave from 12th of December. But a few days ago my HR had informed me that the company wants me to work for the whole duration of the period and would pay me back for my annual leave and the company has the right to do that as they are following the labour law. Is this true?

Yes it is true. If you still take the annual leaves in your own way but HR did not approve it, you'll be in big problem.
