We just terminate a despatch due to serious misconduct. Before that, he is still holding few agreements for stamping with some money (money is for stamping fees). Before he left, he promised to return back all the documents latest by last week. But until now, nobody can get touch with him and already called all the emergency contacts given by him previously. He didnt pick up our calls.

Fyi, still holding his last drawn salary -Oct (included Annual Leave pay).
1. Can i just deduct the total amt given to him for the stamping fees which he never come back to us either documents or money.
2. Or i will not pay his salay for Oct until this month - end Nov?
3. We do not know the status of the stamping, if yet done, all have to redo & re-sign & send for stamping. All waiting for him....

Pls advise what should i do?

Since you have already terminated his service and you could not get any response from him, there is nothing for you to do at the moment. He may be in the process of making a complaint at the Labour Department or the IR Department.

Just wondering, should i pay him the salary? should i deduct fr the salary for the money for the stamping fees which he is holding now?

Better discuss with him first how his salary should be paid and what deduction should be made when you see him. Meanwhile just put his salary on hold until you meet him.
