Re: forced leave

my employer has forced me to take two days leave because he will not be around for the said two days.i am still under probation.he said i can either replace the days or take unpaid leave.i was told by my friend that if my employer forces me to take off, he has to pay me for it and it is not necessary for me to replace it since he is the one who is forcing me to take off.is this true?

If it cannot be avoided, choose replacement. It is better than no pay. Otherwise, you can protest that you don't want either or else you will complain to the Labour Office.
