Re: Rule of cafeteria

Can the cafeteria cook beef? For your information some Chinese and Indian didnít eat beef. What if the cafeteria, they really cook beef but they didnít label it until we [Chinese and Indian] ate it.
Can the Human resource department prohibit the employee bring pork to eat at the cafeteria? But what if we really bring in pork but use our own spoon and fork.
I just want to know that in Malaysia Labour Law, it is state that chinese employee can't bring their our food to the company cafeteria eat?

There is nothing in the Employment Act about cafeteria or canteens at workplace. I don't think there should be any big problem. What the HR department can do is to give a "No pork, No beef" ruling.

I don't think so personally. If you really want to make sure you can consult the Local Council or the Religious Department.
