Re: warning Letters

Hi Mr Siew

I would like to find out when a company is to issue a warning letter to an employee for the same misconduct ie

the first misconduct the Company will issue the First Warning Letter
the second misconduct will be the Second Warning Letter
then the third same misconduct, would you consider that as Third Warning or the Final Warning ?
then the fourth time, can we terminate him without any DI ?

Thank you

Actually there is no rule to say how many warnings must be given. It depends on how serious is the offence. You can terminate his service without DI but I still think by holding a DI is safer.
