Re: termination - notice 24hr

Last week, my employer issued a termination letter to one of our staff (basic salary RM3500) because of breach of duties-ethics problem - he utilized company's properties and information for personal used and its all proven. So, my bos gave him 24hours notice with 1 month salary as compensation. My question is, can he bring the case to the court since in his appointment letter, he should be given 2 months notice for termination.
