Re: Probationer termination

One of our technician we employed and undergo 6 months probation period, further to that we extend another six months of his probation period due to he has poor attendance. Today he has a misconduct to his superior. And a warning letter was served to him. Under this circumstances, can we terminate his service by giving him termination notice or payment in lieu.'

If he has committed misconduct, it would be better to hold a domestic inquiry first.

He came out a word " you can issue a warning letter to me" to his superior during the Inquiry between Plant Manager and his superior because of his misconduct. With this type of attitude thus we decided to terminate him. As refer to L/O we comply to the terms & condition by paying him 2 weeks salary in lieu.

That's good since he was willing to accept 2 weeks salary in lieu.
