What is the maximum working hours per day (including normal hours and OT), if there's any?

1) Specifically, it's under which section in the Employment Act 1955?
2) Working for more than 12 hours per day (normal hours + OT), but employee is duly paid for OT, then it will be fine?

1. Under Section 60A(7)

2. Unless done under the following circumstances as mention in section 60A(2), you cannot do that even though you are willing to pay OT.

" (a) accident, actual or threatened, in or with respect to his place of work;

(b) work, the performance of which is essential to the life of the community;

(c ) work essential for the defence or security of Malaysia;

(d) urgent work to be done to machinery or plant;

(e) an interruption of work which it was impossible to foresee; or"
