Re: Unpaid Leave

Hi,

I overdeducted a staff 2 days of UPL last mth, would like to backpay it in this mth payroll. The issue here is if i pay in this mth, the PCB will be higher. Fyi, before add 2 days backdated pay, PCB = RM801.20, if i pay it, the PCB = RM948.43. (definately the staff will make noise of this higher PCB)

Question: Is it possible to pay back the 2 days salary without take in the PCB? Can i just put it as Reimbursement instead of Backdate Salary in my payroll?

THanks.

If you put it as reimbursement, what about EPF contributions?

Reimbursement > no epf, no pcb.
please advise, thanks.

If he does not mind losing the 12% of the employer's share of EPF and also wont make noise then it is up to you to decide how to go about it.
