Re: Claimed hour for overtime

i had 29.5 hours of overtime which my company made it clear that they won't pay for it. however, we're allowed to claim those hours. i was wondering, do i get to claim 29.5 hours? or i should get more?

Do you mean they will only give you 29.5 hours time-off equivalence? If your salary is not more than RM1500, you are entitled to be paid overtime salary which is better than time-off. If you are not covered by the Employment Act, you may as well settle for time-off if you can't get them to pay you overtime salary.
