Re: Salary increment

I have work for this company since January 2008, and so far have not receive any kind of increment, incentives or bonuses even after i got confirm by the company.

Even when we are force to work on Public Holidays or OT, we are not given any replacement leave or allowance. The GM has stated that since our pay is low, we dont qualify for Labour law. Just want to check if there is anything that i can do as an employee?

The company that i work for seems to have its own "cronies" that gets all the yearly increment and bonuses but not us the normal staff.

Salary increase, incentives and bonus are normally given at the discretion of the employer. However, matters like working on public holidays, overtime are provided in the Employment Act. As such, you may complain to the Labour Department.
