Re: Termination of Employement

Dear sir,
Is it possible for an employer to terminate an employee during his/her prohobition period because the employee did not perform her job as requiered or expected by the employer? Additionally the termination were done by phone call and request the employee to submit an official resignation letter and return the companies property (like locker key, uniform and etc). She did return all the items and submitted her resignation letter but without any signature. HR reject her letter and send her an official letter saying she is terminated. Officially she is paid for her wokring days and additional 2 weeks as written in her employement contract. Please advice if he/she can go to the labor office for compensation. Thank you in advance for your help. Regards,
R.Sekar

It looks like the HR has done correctly.
