Re: Doubt on labour law

I've been working under a financial institution for around 7 months. I didn't sign any agreement such as appointment letter, offer letter, or confirmation letter. Until last month, my employee has confirmed me and increased my wages starting from month of May (Paid).
My question is can i resign without notice if i have a better offer from other company? Did they pay me my wages?

If there is no agreement whatsoever on notice period for termination of service, under the Employment Act, the notice period is 4 weeks. If you were to leave without notice, you will have to pay 4 weeks salary in lieu of ntoce.
