Re: Notice of Termination

I work as Secretary for almost 4 years, I will tender my resignation letter, but I dont want to give one month notice, I wish to tender the letter within 24 hours. Inside my letter appointment they didint stated the rule of the notice of termination, so if I tender the letter within 24 hours, if the company give me a show courts letter, should worry about it?

Then you should pay one month salary as indemnity in lieu of notice if you are covered by the Employment Act (meaning salary not more than RM1500). If you are not covered then you can try doing it your way and see what will happen. I don't know.

If you received a summons to attend court then you must attend. Don't worry so much at the moment, wait and see what is the action from your employer first.
