Kindly request is it have any standard deduction method for unpaid leave?
Currently my company deduct our unpaid leave based on number of working days instead number days of the months. For example, 1st May is considered as public holiday so it will deduct my basic salary with working days which only 20 days..is it the correct way. Since our salary is being paid by month, so by right i should deduct 30/31 days. Am I right?
So in law, is there any rules to protect employee so that employer do not simply change the deduction method?
