Re: resignation, last day and pay calculation

Mr A having a mthly basic salary RM3600 and hanphone allowance RM150/month. He granted 21 days annual leave from the company. He tendered resignation on 27th Apr by giving 1 month notice.
How to calculate his May's salaray, base on 31 days or working day.

Please correct the blw annual leave calculation:-
annual leave 2009 = 21days/12month x 5 mths = 8.75 days ( shoud take 5 months or 4 months)

Do you mean one month notice from 27 April to 26 May? Then it is simply one month salary 3600 + 150.

Annual leave is for "completed" month, so it is 4 months.

correct me if i'm wrong,

1 month notice = 27/04 - 26/05.
salary for April = 3600 + 150 (full)
salary for may = (3600 + 150) / 26 x 26 days

izzit what do u mean?

dee, (3600 + 150) / 26 x 26 days comes to 3750 you know. Full pay for 26 days? I think more like it if you use (3600 + 150) / 31 x 26 days= ???

Siew, what about the annual leave, for prorated, should count till april or May... ... 21days/12 month x 4 months or x 5 months.
