Please help me!
1. i joined on 23/2/09 and resigned on 20/3/09. My monthly salary is RM2000 p.m. I was informed verbally that I would be paid from the day I started working (23/2/09) as I was only given the letter of contract dated 1/3/09. However I found out that they only counted my working days and not includes my first week of 'training" (23/2 - 27/2). There was no whatsoever "formal training". Can I bring this to Labour Department?
2. If my nature of job requires me to work overtime & sometimes weekends/PH, but I'm not entitled for any overtime claim. Is it legal? What if this is not stated in employment letter? Can I refused not to work overtime?
