It seems that the Labour Department has ruled that an employee who resigned before completing 12 months service was not entitled to proportionate leave. Check with the Labour Department about this. Give us a feedback.

SHE IS STILL ENTITLE FOR THE ANNUAL LEAVE, BASED ON PRO-RATED BASIS. THESE DAYS CAN BE MINUS FROM THE RESIGN NOTIFICATION PERIOD.

If staff under probation is entitled for annual leave, then why staff can not apply for leave during the probation period.
And, most of the times , leave applied during probation normally will be treated as unpaid leave ?!!
Pls clarify
