Re: Warning letter

If i have on my application for a job have stated a wrong date for previous employment record. am I liable for warning letter or dimissal by my employer after few years when they do an verification check

You can seek redress at the Industrial Relations Department if you were dismissed because of that reason.

Thanks KL Siew.Can i seek redress at industrial relations dept if my monthly salary is above 10K.

also how long does a company need to retain ex employee details.In my case my previous employment was somewhere in 1995 but i dont have details of exact date.

WHETEHR LIABLE TO DISMISSAL IS ABSOLUTELY DEPENDING ON HOW SERIOUS THE WRONG DATE WILL CAUSE TO THE EMPLOYER.

IF THEY DID STATED A REMARKS IN THEIR JOB APPLICATION FORM, ASKING THE APPLICANT ACKNOWLEDGE ON ALL THE PROVIDED INFO ARE CORRECT, OTHERWISE THE COMPANY RESERVES IT'S RIGHT FOR FURTHER ACTIONS, THEN YR COMPANY IS DEFINITELY HAS REASON TO TERMINATE YOU!
