Re: Short Notice Resignation

I recently resigned from my company which requires 3 months notice period . I requested to early release and they agreed. The problem is i tendered on 10th Dec 2008 and when asked when will be my last day i said month end Jan 09. However when received my Jan 09 payslip i notice that they deduct 1 day salary because 31st Jan is a Saturday and non working day . Doesn't seem right that i should be penalized for 1 day salary when the last day of the month is a non working day ?

To me, they should pay up to 31 Jan. Since they have agreed to your request of early release without requiring you to pay anything, why not just treat it as give and take?

Hi,

STAFF NO SHOW FOR MORE THAN 3 DAYS

Just want to clarify with you that one of our employee no show for more than 3 days to our office, are we consider he MIA and after 3 days no show at the office, we can consider that the company terminate his service immediate? Please clarify.
