Re: Forced resignation / termination

Coming soon, HR & my head of department will be having a discussion on our sales quota & Individual Development Plan will be take place too. If during the discussion, they have suggested us to resign due to we cannot hit our quota for last 3 months, what should we plan for? what is our next move? There is an Individual Develpment Plan letter that need us to sign, should we sign?

When the company is not doing well with declining sales, everybody will be in trouble, not you alone. Think of some suggestions that will help to improve the situation and have some constructive discussion that day. If they ask you to resign, don't resign that's all. Let them terminate your service. Lets see what will happen.

Hi,

I worked in my current company for 3 mths plus, I know I'm not good in my work, I always did some few silly mistakes in my emails. Thus my bos gave me two options 1) Give one week notice OR 2) They will revise my salary to be fair with the other staffs who is not earning as much I do.

My Q here is.. Can Really do this to me?? Reducing my salary?? or ask me to leave??

Unhappy, you are very frank. Since you admitted that you are not good in your work why not take a pay-cut and tell your boss to restore it when you have improved?

To Worry, you may seek redress at the Industrial Relations Department and ask to be reinstated.

To Unhappy. Never mind about others. Why not make a point to improve yourself to show them you are not that useless after all. If you don't, you will have the same problem wherever you work.
