Dear Sir

I has tendered my resignation on 27th Feb 2009. and i have mentioned on letter last day is 13th March 2009.
My Annual leave balance is 4days.
Monthly salary around RM2000.

Please advise the amount deduction for short notice need to pay back company and his final pay will get on March'09.

You may do it like this:

One month notice: 27 Feb to 26 March
Last day: 13 March
Short notice 14 March to 26 March = 13 days
Salary in lieu of short short notice = 2000/28 x 13 = 928.57
Your salary from 27 Feb to 13 March = 2000/28 x 15 = 1071.43
Balance of salary due to you = 1071.43 - 928.57 =142.86
Annual leave pay due to you = 2000/26 x 4 = 307.69
Total you will get = 142.86 + 307.69

Is this OK?

Thanks alot for your prompt reply.
But the my company count me in this way :

Last day : 13/03/09 (Working days in march is only 9days)
Short notice - 16-26 /03/09 (9days)
Annual leave - 4days
Off-set Shortnotice -annual leave = 9days -4days =5days

2000 /24 x 9days = 749.99
2000 /24 x 5days = 416.66
Total i wil get is only - 749.99-416.66 = 333.33

Are the above company calculation correct?
