a staff resign on 28 feb 2009..with effect of one month notice...so the last day should be 31st mar 2009 or 27 march 2009?
I think it should be 31 March.
If the resignation letter date 28/02/09 with immediate effect, then last employment date 27/03/09. If letter given on 28/02/09 but stated as with effect 01/03/09, your last employment will be 31/03/09.
