Re: Position Allowance

Any definition to position allowance.
If an allowance paid monthly and employee absent or apply unpaid leave during the month, can the allowance be deducted from the full amount as promised to be given monthly. ( Basic pay also affected, what about allowance, i think should be the same application).

Can the employer a anytime to withdraw the allowance or to reduce.

No such definition of "position allowance' in the EA;

I think that allowanceshould be included in the deduction;

Have to ask the employer whether it can be withdrawn or not.

It mean under employer act, no provision cover that employer cannot reduce or withdraw the allowance.
