Re: Part-timers not getting their pay

I would like to ask few question regarding it

1. I work part time for a housing development company for like 3days. They pay rm3.50 per hour. Can i claim for that 3 days wages?. This is due to the fact the company changes its working responsibilities from working everyday to working on weekends. therefore i resigned. So can i claim my pay?

2. As mentioned above it is just a part time job. There is no documents whatsoever. Can i make any claims or complaints?

3. When is the latest the company should pay me? (IF they are entitled to)

If the company still owes wages, you can go to the Labour Office to make a claim against the employer. Do you have to give notice if you want to resign? If you had to give notice but you didn't when you resigned, you might not get your 3 days salary. Anyway, go to the Labour Office.

Not like that. If your employer still owes you your wages, go and make a claim at the Labour Office.
