Re: Hourly paid workers

1)Since your mentioned earlier that if they don't work they don't get paid, then are they entitled for annual leave? If yes then how to calculate for their pay?

2)Is it that hourly paid workers don't get public holidays? How to calculate their pay if they are entitled for public holidays, but did not work on that day? Shouldn' t they get paid on that day too, as 1 daywork

Isn't it mentioned in Labour Act that employees are entitled for annual leave and public holidays (10 days per annum), or hourly paid workers not entitled to these?

1. Yes, they are still entitled to annual leave and public holidays with pay. That should get 8hours x RM10 for each day of annual leave or public holidays (not working).

2. See 1 above

3. Also see 1 above.
