i having a problem with an employee with position of Assistant Manager of Business Development Department. This employee been found out he dishonest to the company by cheating his superior when his superior asked him to report his daily appointment of sales.

One day he reported that he was with client having discussion at a mamak stall early morning 8.30am that day but the superior found out he is still at his house at 8.30am till 10.30am. Until 11.30am only he punch in to the office 11.30am then the superior asked him to report the exactly appointment validity but he still declared with client having discussion since early morning 8.30am till 11.00am.

This employee still under probation and the superior found out his dishonest with our boss together just waiting at his house that day.

Is it could be issue an immediately termination because of his dishonest plz advise since i'm giving instruction by my boss to issue him the immediately termination notice. Plz advise..thx

Better to conduct a domestic inquiry first before you do that.
