Re: Entitlement of annual leave

Hi, I worked with a company for six months and I had resigned since I get a better offer. In my confirmation letter stated that I am only elligible to take annual leave after one year service with the company. I read from the labour law stated that if we have terminate the service before 12 months,I can get annual leave in proportion to the number of completed months of service. Is that true?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks a lot.

Do my company reserve any right to cancel my annual leave? It is because they inform me the leave that I took previously will be deducted from my salary.

Then you may have to complain to the Labour Office.

Dear KL Siew,

I've same problem with Jenny. How we do the complain to labour officer? Can I just call the office or need to sedn in a black in white letter? Usually how long they take to manage this kind of case?

Thanks for your help.

By letter if you cannot go personally. Since you want to get back your money, you will have to go there personally as they will be taking a statement from you. Of course I cannot say how long they will take.
