Hi.May i know if during the pregnacy, i got the medical certificate from doctor due to nearly miscarriage.Under Employer Act, the company can deduct my sick leave or is claculate unpaid leave?TQ.

Hi May, the Company shall deduct your sick leave However if your sick leavehas been fully utilised, they shall deduct your annual leave with prior consent from you. The unpaid leave shall be taken into the consideration after the sick and annual leave fully utilised.

Medical Leave Exceeded Limit (Deduction)

If the staff MC from 5/3/2010 until 27/5/2010 which means exceeded 24day and I would like to deduct in 12days in April 2010 and 12days in May 2010 is it ok?

If sick leave falls on rest day as well as public holiday, I have to adjust on rest day/public holiday or both (rest day and public holiday).
